Welcome to our community family Homesystemiclupus1! I don't have lupus but my hubby's cousin has been battling it for over 30 years. She's done real well and worked until 10 years ago. I have sjogrens, hypothyroidism, & fibromyalgia, along with many other diagnosed conditions. They suspect Raynaud's for several years but it's yet to act up in the presence of a doctor. I've had to learn to pace my activities and rest periods to be able to accomplish anything and get through my days. And I take it one day at a time, one step at a time. If I need a rest day/period I take it and never feel guilty for doing so. But it's taken me from 2010 to 2014 to learn to accept the changes in my health and lifestyle, and to find ways of coping to live. I had to grieve the loss of who I once was, what I lost and can no longer do. It takes time, and it's different for everyone. And even though we don't all have the same diagnoses, we all understand what living with chronic pain & chronic conditions is like.
There are others here with lupus. Read through old threads for other discussions. You search with the looking glass. Hopefully others will have more suggestions to help you with dealing with lupus. Hugs love & prayers as you settle in and find your best way of coping. 🙂💕🙏🌸
