Brought an inversion table home last night and used it. Woke up this morning with less pain than usual. Keeping my fingers crossed for every little relief I can get. Only time will tell. I plan to use it morning and night. Anyone else have any suggetions or experiences to share?
Any relief no matter how small is a little miracle so the help with the herniation pain being less is good. I'm sorry it doesn't help with the tail bone pain and I'm sure sitting even for short periods may exasperate the tail bone pain. Have you seen your doctor about your tail bone? Could your tail bone pain be an issue due to the disc extrusion? Where the nerve may be slightly pinched causing the extra pain in the tail bone?
I am plum miserable today. Had to pick my son up from school and nearly couldn't get out of my truck. Anyhow, seeing my doctor tomorrow for insurance purposes for approval for an MRI of the lower sacrum. I swear it's fractured or I have bone cancer. I know I don't, but that is literally how it feels. And also feels like something is snagged on my tail bone when I look down or if I'm sitting and try to look to the left or right. Wouldn't it be dreamy if you could just go to a clinic, get an exam, have an X-ray/CT/MRI, get an answer/diagnosis and then be given what needs to be done and have it scheduled--ALL IN ONE APPOINTMENT!!!!! Ugh!!!
Saw my doctor yesterday morning. I have been scheduled to see a spine specialist on Feb 3rd. I'm trying turmeric. Doc gave me Tylenol 3 but I don't like the medicated feeling unless I am desperate and not leaving the house.
Maple ask for an n-said patch to cut in half and put on both buttcheeks, but not directly on the spine, they need flesh to be absorbed, .Get a tush cushion for sitting, I even used xxanax once a day at it lowest dose. Doctors will try and tell you they don't work for nerve pain but it helps.
