Tendonitis in the elbow

Apr 17, 2017 8:24 AM

Anyone have tendonitis in the elbow? Seems logical me nothing helps. Ice, heat, aleve etc.

My husband had it once and had to have a series of cortisone shots. Kinda hoping I don't have to go that far. 😳

There is a strap that is velcro and ace bandage I believe futro makes it. I have seen them at Target and Walmart they seem to help. The cost is around 13.00 My pain management doctor told me about it. Give it a shot.

Oh My gosh . I hope you feel better soon. My hubby just found out he has tenderitest in his elbow and bicipital. He is in threphy now.

Wishing you fast healing . Sending prayers your way.

If this helps he was told to take iburprifin or something four tabes 3 times a day . Talk to your Dr. Just in case you are allergic to anything
Plus a brace will help when you are sleeping . .

Mine actually helped tennis elbow ((which is what it is for) but what really suprised me was it seriously helped my carpal tunnel. Bonus!

That IS a bonus!👍

I have had this issue i.e.tendonitis elbow with my bilateral carpal tunnel issues. Series of arm stretches prescribed by PT really helped. Look up carpal tunnel physical therapy arm stretches on internet. Ice is my go to as well.
