Hio, pk I have body tension all over, but especially in my back and neck after I hit my head. Stretching helps, but just barely. I've found adding kava and Magnolia supplements has been helpful. Just something to try if you haven't already. ❤
Okay, magnolia supplements are usually either extract or bark, and they're a pretty strong painkiller. I've used it with kava to stop pain caused hallucinations, especially during long drives. I used to know exactly how they work, but I can't remember at the moment, sorry. I use magnolia a lot during flares.
Welcome to the community Pkul! I'm sorry you have high tension levels. May I ask, is it mostly physical, mostly mental stress, or equally both?
Physical tension causes me to have muscle spasms, headaches, back pain, and worsens my TMJ. Mental/psychological tension tends to worsen my sleeplessness or restless/interrupted sleep, headaches, depression & anxiety. Both affect my moods, irritability levels.
Regardless of which I'm having I use music, easy exercises, slow relaxed deep breathing, & gentle stretching to relax. I hope you can find ways that help you reduce your tension. (((Hugs))) & prayers for you! 🙂🌼🙏😷
