Terrible pain for over a year now.

I'm 20 years old and have horrible back pain. It starts with a stomach ache then radiates to my back, even my ribs hurt. Nothing helps, I can't even lay in my bed when it happens. I have to sleep on the floor to keep my back completely straight with a heating pad and that doesn't work, the heat just helps keep me distracted. It happens randomly and last days and days then goes away for a while and comes back. I don't know what to do, I'm in so much pain.

XxAriXx, I hate to hear that you are in so much pain for so long and at a young age, have you talked to your doctor about a possible MRI? I hope that you can get some answers soon! Praying for you!

Unfortunately I don't have insurance and have no one to help me. My mom just passed a year ago this last April and dad when I was 11.

XxAriaXx I am so sorry to hear that you're on your own with no insurance. That just sucks. Is it possible that you're having a digestive issue? You said it begins with a stomach problem and then goes to your back. Sounds like you could have a gallbladder problem which is what I had. I was loaded with stones. I also had a problem with my pancreas at one time and both will cause pain in your ribcage and sometimes radiate to your spine. If you can. I would get a physical and have blood work done. Speak to the doc to about your situation. Sometimes they can help you with a sliding scale payment according to what you can afford. Sending you gentle {{{Hugs}}} and reassuring positive vibes to help you through. 💕🙏🏻🌻😊

XxAriaXx, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of both your parents, and at such young ages. Please know the community is always here for each other, we're like extended family. I'm wondering if you have digestive issues, more in line with bowel issues. I have IBS, more often constipation than diarrhea. I'll hurt in my belly area but it often causes my low back to hurt, and it hurts until I have a BM. I'm 54 now but I've heard these issues since my teen years. If you have bowel issues then start tracking the bowel symptoms to see if they coincide with the back pain. I use an app called "Bowel Move" by mSurf Lab. Between using it and this pain app, that's how I realized the connection. And like AlwayZ said, the gallbladder can also cause back pain, but that pain was higher up at my waist. I think an exam would be good idea. Hugs, love, & prayers that you figure this out and find ways to relieve your pain better. 🙂💕🙏🌸
