Decided to try out this app to track my pain and of coarse today is my first day of it and my pain has not been as bad as normal. Hoping this will help give some doctors a better idea of what is going on.
I have been dealing with my condition for about 6 months now. It really has surprised me at how many people treat me differently now, and the most common thing I hear is it's all in your head and get over it.
I have some thinking I just want to get out of work.... It is so idiotic to think I returned to school and got my degree 4 years ago just to flush it by making a mountain out of a mole hill... Not to mention the stress. At times I wish they could deal with this for even for a day let alone a year...
I finally had a job that paid decently and I actually liked. With all the pain, concentration issues, and short term memory issues I now don't have a job. I can reapply if cleared by my doctor, but don't feel like it is a good idea or even safe for me to be working on small planes and private jets at this point. All the jobs I have ever done were mainly requiring lots of manual labor and that just won't work for me right now. So I understand what your saying. The best was the first rheumatologist telling me, "just work through the pain, you'll be fine."
I found and just joined the app...... To better understand what pain I dealt with... And also to be able to log it in a sensible way to be able to express it to my massage therapist and my physician. Some days........ Even a number of days....... I don't have too much pain. But I have noticed that stress, overwork, over anxiety and when I need a chiro treatment. ( not necessarily all at once) .... Ect....... Could cause me to have very painful days of recovery...... I think the app is truly helpful in this aspect. If that is what you are looking for....... You should find It here..... :). Best of luck to you!
