I know thier was massive flooding, let's just pray they have cell service. My best friends little sister lives in Texas and she is also 38 weeks pregnant and both hospital's near her are flooded pretty good and she is flooded in her in law's neighborhood, we're praying she doesn't go into labor because she can't get to a hospital. Her apartment building is flooded as well, we are thankful she went to the in-laws house, because her apartment is in Houston near the, I 610 loop.
Update on what I know from my best friends sister who lives in Huston.. they had to open the byou and that is going to flood Huston even more than it is now, the flooding thier is already bad.. some Hospital's are out of commission because they flooded. As a matter of fact my friends sister is looking at having to have the baby where she is staying because she can't get to one because of the flooding. She has lost her place of employment and her home. Huston is in bad shape. I'm praying everyone else is doing fine, I hope they can get on soon and let us know they are alright.
I am high and dry very minimal not worth mentioning damage. Thanks for checking on me. The area is beyond belief. 51 inches of rain in 24 hours crazy. The RED CROSS has posted pictures on their website of people looking for displaced loved ones. Two of the main Houston news stations have links on their home Web pages check-out KHOU and KPRC. It is going to be a very long haul but I must say the community pulls together and helps eachother always, it is impressive. There is literally no way in because every freeway still has flooding and there are still over 300 road closures from high water. Thank you for your good thoughts, vibes and prayers.
