I saw the rheumatologist today, and my primary was, thankfully, WRONG. I only have fibromyalgia. No lupus. Doing a happy dance in my mind, because everything hurts. I've decided there must be a course on how to inflict pain, in medical school. She found trigger points I didn't even know about. 4 hour round trip was definitely worth it.
Fireyred I'm so glad that you don't have lupus. I told you just wait till you see the Rhuematologist because they run so much more test than the primary doctor. My primary said I had lupus, he was wrong but close. I have Sjögren's syndrome and fibromyalgia. I prayed hard for you and so glad God answered.
Primary ran all the right tests, just interpreted them wrong. I do have a positive ana, but at low titer. So the markers are there, but no autoimmune stuff yet, and I hope it stays that way. Fibro is bad enough for me.
Fireyred, I am happy dancing with you holding onto a chair so I do not hit the floor, Glad they ruled out Lupus. They ruled out lupus for me which I celebrated. I do not have Fibro...but isn't it an autoimmune disease? I have an autoimmune disease and did not realize there were so many until I was diagnosed. Celebrating your good news! 🎉🎈
