The last couple weeks

Jun 17, 2015 8:14 AM

I've been MIA here the last couple weeks. It's been crazy.

I had those suicidal thoughts and made an appointment right away. But the day of my appointment I was hit with incredible pain in my upper left abdomen. I had a CT and turned out I had a huge cyst on my left ovary that was leaking fluid throughout my abdomen which was causing the pain.
My meds were changed around to rid the suicidal thoughts and care for my cyst.
Two days later I was at the chiropractor when my body went into a very strong Oculogyric Crisis (google it). My chiropractor thought I was having some sort of seizure. I am now not allowed to drive for a while. The treatment for the oculogyric crisis is Benadryl. My doctor gave me a shot of it.
The next day my family drove 1000 miles on vacation. I had planned to help drive. But now I can't.
More than a week later now and I still have cyst pain and the Benadryl shot location is a hard lump under the skin and numb skin. I need to call about that.
We are also moving to a new state. So please pray I quickly find a good doctor.

Aliya, I am so sorry for the crisis that you are going through. It sounds like you've really had your hands full. Please make sure to have your medical records handy above all else when you move because you're going to need them when you find a new doctor. I pray that your pain eases and that there are no complications. It's possible that when you got the shot, it hit a muscle and caused the hard bump. Is it hot or warm? Is the lump painful? Dis colored in any way? Definitely check it out with the doctor if there are any of those problems. I wish you the best of luck pray for you.

Aliya, that's really awful you're dealing with all this at one time. Always is right about your records. I'd get them from as many doctors as possible, and maybe a print out of your meds from the pharmacy. Moving is stressful in itself, so try to rest as much as you can. Are they doing anything for the cyst? Does using a heating pad help? I'll k keep you in my prayers! 🙏🌼

A heating pad sounds delightful. But! Of all things, we are currently tent camping all week with no electricity except in the bath house. However, I'm able to relax which is very helpful.
Thank you both for the reminder to get my records! I wouldn't have thought of it.
