The "joy" of fatigue

Nov 30, 2016 11:04 AM

Fatigue is the closest companion to your partner "pain" and you. Fatigue is your mother-in-law that you are stuck with.. You hate her and she hates you. She loves to make your life to a living hell.. When you manage cooperate with you partner "Pain", then comes your "beloved" mother-in-law to question you what you want to do next. Just to stop you because you are supposed to stay at home with no energy..(maybe you are a married woman in a strict culture where your place is at home cooking?)

At the same time the rest of your family and your friends lives a liberated modern life with activities 24/7. They expect you to do the same.. They don't really know your partner "Pain" or your mother-in-law "Fatigue". They have just heard you telling about them, not experienced them close up...

Your kid's name is "Stress: and loved to give you trubble. The combination of having mother-in-law over and "Stress" hyperactive is a nightmare.. You can't calm down "Stress" because your mother-in-law "Fatigue" is nagging at the same time. "Fatigue" don't tolerate her grandkid "Stress" being energetic and it is always YOU who has to take care of it..

My "mother-in-law" Fatigue moved in with us full-time this year and I am soon going nuts of her nagging all the time. My "partner" Pain don't see the problem with Fatigue living with us..

Oh joy...

I bet my real fiancΓ© will laught loudly and long when he reads it :-P
I just felt like making a funny explanation about living with pain, fatigue and stress. I hope you enjoyed this :)

I love this description! I knew RA came with tons of joint pain and that alone sucks but the fatigue is killer. Waking up after 10 hours of sleep exhausted is horrible. I'm currently laying in bed dreaming that my school work will complete itself πŸ˜‘

I hope mil fatigue stays away from you for a bit!

Petra3, enjoy your ability to study :)
I really miss it! I remember and know the feeling when you are dreaming about school work completing itself ;)

I was hoping to gain some energy while visiting my mom and her husband. Buuut... She has psoriasis arthritis and he has parkinsons.. Both of them lives with fatigue πŸ˜‘ Smart move to spend a week with them..
