My nephew is a very caring little boy.. saw him today for a few hours and he heard me comment i was in some pain... when it was just me and him he gave me a hug and offered me cushions to prop under my elbows ( todays pain point) .... as i thanked him for being thoughtful his response was " its ok, your my fave aunt and i know how much you care about me and i dont like to see my fave aunt in pain".... i could have kissed him for his act of kindness..
How come grown ups dont have the same compassion as children??
Ahh your nephew sounds like such a sweetheart, soo caring and cute. I have found kids are very intuitive and very compassionate, my 2 year old niece sometimes when I see her will come to me and give me a a nice big cuddle when I'm not feeling great without me saying a word to her. My baby boy (14 years old but he'll always be my baby, the same with my daughter) yesterday without even saying anything just came to me and gave me a great cuddle and told me he loved me, just what I needed as I was feeling miserable because I was in soo much pain. He's not so cuddly these days and doesn't say that he loves me much (a teenager thing I've been told!). My baby girl (10 years old) is still young enough to say that she loves me and still likes cuddles.
Thy is awesome he sounds like a wonderful child and is being raised with compassion and love. I pray he always keeps his innocents and pure heart. It's more then I can say for my nephew. He is 27 and has made not so smart choices in life. I've been home for almost a week a d he lives with his mother and has yet to ask or make an effort to see how I am after surgery. He didn't even come to the hospital last yr when mom was in. The world is so hard and cold today. Anytime we can keep a child a child I love it.
Wow... hes a keeper for sure 🌷 U tell him 🤗from me...( Lulabel ) that he is 😚a very special young man, and he deserves a big cuddle 🤗 for being so kind! 😚 It just goes to show... ur Sis/bro and ur family are bringing up this little guy... 🤗so well, big cuddles for u🤗 and his mom n dad... cos that is a beautiful thing. 😚
Thanks everyone... im hoping he always keeps abit of childhood innocence... unlike his sister whose younger and somehow manages to fleece her big brother at monopoly without batting at eyelid ( and boasts about it afterwards)... i love kids for being the only people who can be genuinly kind, compassionate and loving... neither of them shows any frustration at their aunts forgetfulness, scatty brain, fibrofog, insanely slow walking, talking and all out "old age at the ypung age of 35"... they have a patience of a saint with me and i love them for it
