Tired of always being in pain

Apr 20, 2015 5:56 AM

I was recently diagnosed with Fibromylagia but suspect to have it for several years, steadily increasing until it all went haywire after chemo for breast cancer. The last few days haven't been so bad but I know it'll get worse this week (busy week). Only thing that dulls the pain is 1 Percocet every 12 hours. I've tried all the recommended meds for fibro without much luck.

BonBon, I am so sorry about your breast cancer. You have to be a strong person to get through chemo! I've always said I don't think I'll ever do chemo or radiation. I worked at many hospitals and saw what patients go through. I just couldn't get through it, I'm not strong enough.

I have Fibro also. I had the symptoms beginning in 2008-2009, but wasn't officially diagnosed until 2012. Mine got much worse from a large mass that grew, unknown, and when they took it out they did 5 surgeries in 1 to repair my abdomen. I have good & bad days, but most days I just tolerate the pain. In the winter or extreme summer heat I have flare ups. I have many other issues too, and I couldn't deal with it alone. God carries me day to day, and this community is a lifeline. Unfortunately fibro sufferers must accept we'll never be pain free. We just have to get through it. And I do that one day at a time. I'll be praying for you! 🙏🌼

Bonbons welcome to our community I feel like everyone here is extended family members. We are here for each other with as much support and understanding what each other faces day tovday. These people are the most caring, understanding, Christians that you could be with. If you need to rant and rave no will judge you for it. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia but my other disorders get all of the attention instead. Will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Here are two natural vitamin supplements that may help: Cucuramin and Inflamend(?) and another is Cinnamon capsules. These are a Godsend!! Taken regularly, they greatly relieve pain. You might also try B complex for the stress of what you were going through. You cannot overdose on the B complex, so taking two tablets 2 to 3 times per day will greatly assist you. Hope this helps!

Robinsage and BonBon I take a lot of vitamins and minerals like a multi vitamin,B12 2500 units daily, b complex, biotin, calcium, CQ 10, krill oil. Everyday I take these as well as my other meds. But I really like the B 12 it makes me feel better when. My Dr told me to take as much as possible. But I had Vertical Gastric Sleeve Surgery.

Garlic (raw) helps with some pains I've had as well as::
Kratom

Kava Root
Iodine

I know about kratom ferrit but what does Magnolia bark and Kava root help with for you? Also is it the bioflavonoid in the bark that help?

Apr 22, 2015 8:01 AM

Our fine government has made it difficult to get kratom in fact the plant is illegal in most states and what most sell online is bogus. It is a really easy to grow if you can get it especially in the south. Kava Kava root tastes horrid but is a great muscle relaxer. Ultimately the pharmaceutical companies cannot make any money off plants, so they help push laws through that hurt us.

Yeah, kava is a muscle relaxer, I use it mostly during flares when my whole body is so messed up and I end up feeling insane.
It just makes everything stop and calm down.
It tastes kind of bad,but I chew the capsules and the effect is worth the flavor.
It also numbs your mouth/throat.
Magnolia Bark , I don't know why exactly it helps.
It just does.
Is true that our government is filled with BS.
Why else would Rat Park have stopped getting funding?
The results were not what companies wanted.
It kind of sucks that so many people want money, not to help people.
I guess they've never been in the shoes of chronic pain.
It's lucky for them.
