I am so tired of being sick. I went to a 3 yr old bday party yesterday. I must have ate something wrong. My stomach is sick plus I've got another cold. Do you all catch things easy? I've had UTI after UTI. My last cold took forever to go away, now I've got another one. How sick do you all get?
Anything my 2 bring home from school I catch, I normally have UTI after UTI, over the past 6 months I've had 7 or 8 urine samples sent off for testing as it just seems continuous, I catch colds easily, ear infections and vertigo are also nearly constant companions as well. I've also noticed my stomach is a lot weaker recently, I don't know if it's what I'm eating or the meds I'm on but I get bouts of diarrhoea easily.....it seems when I feel nauseous and get stomach cramps I don't throw up everything goes thro me instead and the stomach cramps feel worse!
My daughter has now become the same with catching stuff since she was dx type 1 diabetic, the way I understand type 1 is that your body attacks the pancreas so it no longer works so I think it makes type 1 diabetes a autoimmune illnesses? which means her immune system is weaker now so her catching every cold going and the fact she's just getting over an ear infection that went on for 5 weeks with 5 lots of antibiotics is showing that?
I really hope that this clears up quickly for you. Sending you positive vibes and warm healing hugs xx
AnimalLover, My last cold lasted from October to December. I've been easy to catch any & everything since my first child was born in 1984. Before that the only things I'd had was chicken pox, spot throat & tonsillectomy, broken leg, flu for a week in high school, mono & shingles at age 18, but that's it. I'm 55 now and just the other day was thinking about my reduced immunity and how long I've been sicker than most in my family. It dawned on me that my first allergies started with my first child; makeup & scented lotions, medications, reduced ability to fight off cold or easily catch any community sickness. My asthma started in 2001 following 3 years of chronic bronchitis attacks. Then fibro 2007, sjogrens & hypothyroidism 2015. Ever since the asthma it takes me 2-3x as long to get over anything I get, and I'm always the sickest with the most complications. I avoid those who are sick as much as possible. And anytime I go out in public I'm religiously washing my hands. If I know I've been around sickness I'll even shower and/or change clothes. My hubby use to tease me as being paranoid, but after yearly ER visits since 2011, he realizes my immune system is compromised. He is my biggest supporter, even to the point of stopping children & grandchildren from exposing me.
I'm sorry you are sick again. Rest, fluids, and reduced exposure is your best buds right now. Hugs love and prayers this will pass quicker than the last time! 🙂💕🙏🌸
