Tis the season.. Cough, cough

Dec 07, 2016 8:17 AM

This is the time of year to be sick... Or at least for me. Cough, headache, congested.. Ugh. Starts with a cold, then asthma and ends with pneumonia. I don't have time for this!

Bah Humbug!

You too? I haven't been this sick in years.
Hope you feel better soon. I've heard this cough lingers for months

Ugh... I hate not having much of an immune system. This hit hard and fast. Not the usual slow progression. Woke up with a mild cough yesterday and by evening I couldn't stop coughing. Today - still coughing and tried taking meds which caused me to start throwing up.

Called doctor for rx for coughing. He also said to get mucinex. So someone's gonna have to make a store run for me.

I could have a tantrum. But it wouldn't help. Seriously.. I don't have time to be sick. Thankful my son's here to help pick up the slack.

I know I posted this in your other post Mimikay but this might help you to Gotobef....

I don't know what to suggest other than up your vitamin and mineral intake whether that by eating an extra rainbow of fruit and veg or having good quality vitamin and mineral tablets.
Sometimes I've found that hot water with a couple of wedges of fresh lemon with a tsp of honey and cinnamon, cloves and if you like it tumeric to taste helps keep mine from getting worse.....I have a few cups throughout the day. It might help so it might be worth a try?
Sending you warm healing hugz and you're in my prayers xx

It seems to help me so I thought it might help you, if you're unable to eat it might be worth putting in some ginger, it's meant to help soothe your stomach even if it just takes the edge off the nausea. When I feel like that I normally put a couple of slivers of fresh ginger (I prefer fresh ginger) but I know some people use ground ginger as well. It's not more pills and is natural so might work plus there's not many side effects with natural like there is with most meds.
You have nothing to lose in trying it and the best thing is you can make it to how you like.
