Beachlover, have you gone back to the doctor for X-rays or an MRI to see if there are any bone fragments or anything else floating around that is causing the problem? I had knee surgery to clean it out and I had tears of the MCL, ACL and the meniscus was just ground down and shredded from the bones grinding. After surgery, I had an area on the incision that was red and bothersome so I removed one stitch (with the OK of the doctor). I bent my knee and felt something strange and then I tightened the muscle and all of a sudden felt a pop on the inside and fluid shot across the room!! Turns out that the joint dehist and there was a translucent yellow fluid that was hot that kept building up and I would drain it several times a day. (By bending my knee and tightening the muscle in my knee and thigh). I got anywhere from 14-16 ounces of fluid out of it a day. I went back to the Orthopaedic Doctor within a week and he said that he had to go back into the knee and operate again or that was going to get very infected. It was painful and the knee made grinding feeling and burning and I would know it had to drain.. Was kind of fun to gross out my friends because if I left the fluid sitting in the cup for a few minutes, it would turn into almost a gel like substance as it cooled. Turns out that it was caused by a bone sliver that was hidden in the side of my knee and under the patella and there was a mix of sinovial fluid and infection that was coming out from ONE stitch hole. I would call the doctors back because you don't want to end up back in the operating room. Sending you hugs and prayers and I hope it all works out for you and they are able to ease your pain. 🌻🙏🏻

Been in 2 first for the initial replacement, 10 days between blood and green, yellow substance went back into the operating room where they found a staple in a blood vessel plus the sutures near the replacement was infected. They removed all sutures and resutured. Spent 30 days out of PT started over then a pop and the left lower section of my patella grinds and cannot bend that section and have a build up of fluid in the back of the knee. See my OS on Tuesday hoping to have what ever is under there removed. So hopefully 3rd surgery last. Thanks this helps a lot.

You're more than welcome. I am so sorry that after all you've been through that you have to go through yet a 3rd surgery. I will keep you in my thoughts and pray that this will be the end of your knee surgeries and that you will heal quickly and completely. {{{Hugs}}} 🌻🙏🏻

That's a good idea. You know, scar tissue can be treated in some cases with injections. Not a pleasant thought in itself but better than surgery. I hope that when you go that they are able to help you. Sending well wishes, positive vibes, gentle {{Hugs}} and prayers that things go well. 🌻🙏🏻

It's sharp and grinding. Would not figure it's scar tissue right there under the knee. Just after the money and this length especially the infection might start to feel it's something else this is all I heard for 2 months.

I'll be praying for a much better outcome for you Beachlover! 🙏🌼
