Welcome Amyward12! I'm sorry you are having a hard time coping with your pain. I also have fibro & spine pain, from my neck to my coccyx. I've taken several bad falls straight down on my tailbone over the years including falling from about 12' off a high slide, which they believe has added to my sacral-coccyx pain. Thankfully I never ruptured a disc or broke the tailbone, but I've developed OA all along my spine. I'm 57 & have had pain in that area since my 20s. I do have L4-S1 issues that add pain & cause sciatica.

Mostly my treatment is warm heat, or ice when I can tolerate it, and OTC pain ointments and Tylenol arthritis med. Sometimes sleeping flat of my back aggravates the pain there, and a warm shower & gentle stretching of the low back helps. It every helps the fibro knots that form in the buttocks & hip areas. My rheumatologist suggested I start my days with a warm shower & gentle stretches, for both the fibro & the arthritis, and it really does help with the all-over morning stiffness I wake up with every day. She also suggested Not staying in bed too long because it could add to stiffness from being I'm mobile.

Not every suggestion helps everyone, but hopefully something (I or others suggest) will help you in learning to cope with your chronic pain issues. Just remember that when your day is good not to overdo your activity, and when it's not a good day pamper yourself; pace all activities with frequent rest periods. Sending hugs love & prayers you will find out what's wrong with your coccyx and also find ways to reduce your pain! πŸ™‚β€πŸ™πŸŒΌ
