Overwhelmed. Since my accident on 9/14 the pain has steadily grown and my headach just won't go away - even with the migraine meds. It isn't any wonder that today I am extremely nauseated..that usually comes with the migraine. I don't have time for this. I need to take mom to church (I am her caregiver) and out to eat afterwards. I can then rest for maybe two hours then I do it all again - church then out for supper. Once home I can crash.
I also suffer from Chronic migraines I have one daily it depends on severity as to what I do that day and if I'm in pain else where like last two weeks my shoulders been terrrribke it's causing more, strain on my brain.. It sucks not easy I so understand... Hugz
Mimikay, we'll get through it together one moment at a time. You've got an entire community of family here that understand what you're going through without having to feel as if you're alone or anything like that. As a matter of fact, with us all lurking about, you'll never have the opportunity to be alone. So, I'm swooping in.. Here I come to save the day!!!! (Most here are too young to remember that from Mighty Mouse... LOL!!). At any rate, hope you at least got a giggle if only for a moment. But just think, in that moment you couldn't think of anything else but what you were smiling at so those are the kind of moments you look for to get through your day. Holler if you need me, I'll be hobbling along to help!!💕😜🏇😉🐫🤗
Mimikay, I used to be a caretaker for my Aunt, it's hard to care for someone else when you feel rotten. I remember not getting sleep for week's, and migraines setting in one after the other. Nauzeen became my best friend to help keep the nausea under control. At least at church you are sitting down and kind of relaxing. After lunch, go home lay down in a cold dark room with a ice pack on your head and try to get some sleep and let your mom know that you have been fighting a migraine for however many day's and your doing your best to get rid of it , if you could just try to get a little bit of rest before church later that evening. I'm sure she will understand since you have been so generous of your willingness to take care of her even though you feel cruddy yourself.
