Tomorrow can not get here soon enough

I'm frustrated and I hurt like no tomorrow this evening. This pelvic/abdominal pain needs to go the hell away and stay away!!!!!! Been dealing with this all day, pretty consistently. More importantly I want answers cause I'm about ready to pull my freaking hair out(sorry, not meaning to rant on and on). I just can't deal with this any longer

Breathe Amanda breathe!! Breathing helps.. especially when used thru a guided meditation/body scan. You can find many of them free on the internet. I highly recommend it for dealing with pain that is driving you insane. Also try heat... even if you don't have a heating pad.. rice in a sock/pillowcase microwaved for a few minutes works wonders. Good luck!!

Amanda, Bentnotbroken is right about the relaxation. I bought tapes and CDs years ago of relaxation music, and listening to them does relax me in my worst pain. I feel so bad knowing you're hurting. I hope and pray your doc will be able to do something tomorrow. If you've got a little wine drink about 2-4 oz. 🙏🌼

Alwayz, according to PCP pelvic pain is coming from my back. I'm not quite sure about that though, so I'm just going to keep that darn follow up with my gyn on Friday and see if he is of the same opinion or not. Oh and I finally got the results of the MRI from May. No herniations at L4-S1 but there is evidence of desiccation at those two spots which she explained to me as tears in the discs themselves. Ortho will not fix it unless it is herniated already.

The pelvic pain may be coming from tears in the discs in your back. Its amazing how far pain can travel from its original problem. I had horrible side rib pain for months before seeing my gp... chalking it up to fibro pain. The doc was on the ball and found arthritis in my spine about half way up. I have also had shoulder problems cause pain all down my arm to my hands and also caused incontinence. The arm/hand pain I could understand.. but I would have never guessed it as the reason for my incontinence. Luckily that impinged nerve got free again.. and both conditions went away.

If you are unsure.. a second opinion is always a good thing. Good luck!

Bent, I'm thinking a second opinion might be useful at this point. Might be worth it.
Alwayz, we also have something in common. MRI showed mesenteric lipomatosis. That doesn't really worry me at this point. Just trying to get my back under control.
