I am picking up on a pattern. There are days when it hurts too much to put any weight on my back, thus sitting against a chair or propped up by pillows is painful. So, the only comfortable position I can find is laying on my side. This makes it difficult to do anything but watch television. I try to read, and I nod off. I can't stay awake! I know this isn't healthy. Why am I sleeping so much?
Surprisingly, I slept through most of the night. I'm now trying to stay up. However, the pain is all but consuming. I don't want to return to bed. I have too much to do... more than just sleeping my life away.
I've had a lot of trouble sitting up or standing wheni wake up lately. I'll feel like fainting, and it takes about ten minutes just for me to be sitting up on my pillows. I don't know if this would work for you, but there's a spot in my shoulder blade that I'di can take a ruled up blanket, and lean on that then sometimes some of the pain goes away. Good luck finding something that works for you! T
Moon rabbits mom I find that if I am extremely tired, and if I have pushed myself that it takes me a couple of days where I fall asleep really easily. Have you been checked for sleep apnea I was diagnosed in 2011. I had reached a point to where I would fall asleep and wake up startled, all day long and sleep at night. My neuro check me and found out I stopped breathing every 14 min an hr. It was amazing how much of a difference the cpap machine has made in my life. It is hard to get used to but it's better than what could happen go to sleep one night and not wake the next morning. I can't sleep anyway but on my sides so I watch TV and I read, post on here on my phone. Good luck.
