It's not scaremongering at all, it's talking in context about more and more people using the drug who once could get it easily now can't as it was re-classified in 2014 now use the black market to obtain the drug, just like Diazepam, temazepam all those drugs have a massive black market worth... and people are mixing them with other drugs like legal highs and then dying. It's not saying the drug is dangerous whatsoever when taken accordingly, but as always drugs are drugs and people will develop addictions, and so will do anything to obtain their drug of choice p, such as buy from the black market...this is where the problem is.
Im on fentanyl patches...🐫 i have tramadol 50mg for breakthru pain (up to 8 in 24hrs)... 🤔altho its the mildest of opioids... 😊its a very good drug for 🤗taking the edge off my severe chronic spinal pain! 🐴Never had any problems at all!😚
I am also on diazapam .🐫...and a high dose pregbalin/Lyrica for pain 🐴
I still feel that this article is scaremongering. It talks about mixing with othe drugs or alcohol (which is regularly done by doctors too) and it states the statistic 33 deaths. I did some research and there has been a very small rise and death is still very very rare. Most opiates can be taken and you can still have small amounts of alcohol and even mix other drugs (on doctors orders). Black market tramadol is still very rare especially in comparison to other medications such as morphine, heroin, marijuana etc. This article singles out tramadol which is one of the safest opiates available and makes it look like an epidemic killer. If you're on tramadol just take it as you should and you will be fine
You probably haven't seen as much in life yet as some of us have as you're young, I know lots of people where I live who buy fake tramadol just like they do with diazepam, when you mix these even the legit drug with drugs like Spice,Mojo and the really nasty 'bath salts' this is where the deaths occur, statistics are whack.....speak to the people who are on the fake stuff and you'll realise!!
I have seen more life than my years would show JAHMAC and in your area it must be far more popular. Where I am it is all diazepam, morphine, crack etc. Rather than fake tramadol. In fact, only 1 area out of the 10 in my county has any supply of tramadol to my knowledge and I have a lot of cop buddies as well as knowing a fair few drug and alcohol addicts and even a couple of dealers. I don't have to say this but I do not associate with the dealers and try to help the addicts recover but I still hear things
I think you'd be suprised at the statistics and the first hand accounts round here
I agree Tramadol is very dangerous! I once accidently over dosed, I wasn't paying attention to the time and I took 2 doses within an hour (I was on 50 MG 2 at a time so I basically took 200mg) and I couldn't walk and could barely breath. I thought for sure I was going to die. Now I'm on oxycodone and my husband gave me meds once an mixed up which ones I had to take so once again I overdosed but I was just high as a kite I didn't feel like I was dying. I will never take Tramadol again.
