Hi mvskoke, my first experience with TN started after I slipped on a wet floor (didn't see). I smashed right onto my tailbone then backwards onto my head, my head bounced & struck floor 2x. I blacked out for a few minutes. Long story short, I was having semi-numbness with pins & needles tingling down my left temple and going just under my left eye. That happened in 1997. The neurologist deemed it "TN of unknown cause," so I got screwed by the company's insurance, and because I needed my job I didn't sue them. Stupidly young & naïve then, I know now its a contributing factor to my migraines & low back/SI joint issues today. But I was told if I sued I'd never work there or anywhere like it again (I'd get blacklisted so to speak). Naïve yes! I know better now but its too late.
Today when my migraines hit, they typically affect my left eye & temple, and if I don't treat early they go into the TN.
