Trigger

Aug 19, 2015 11:47 AM

I'm not sure why, but this morning I was starting to wake up normally, and then something scared me (flash back, 4th July earthquake) and I was up in a minute. Now I feel sicker, but is it just the smoke? I'm back to shaking, and my heart is going fast like it does when the wind brings more smoke.

The weird thing is, I had felt really happy for a second. It just switched, happy to terrified. So now I'm confused and have an appointment today.

Anxiety is what it would be called I assume. Maybe sub consiciously something triggered it off with what you were doing at the time that might have reminded you of certain events ?

I agree with octobot. It's either anxiety or a panic attack; both are similar. When you feel that way you should close your eyes and deep breathe, imagining you are in a relaxed and safe place.🙏🌼

I guess that's the weird part. I felt relaxed, and then immediately after just scared. It probably is anxiety.
