Trouble eating prior to surgery

Oct 13, 2015 7:42 PM

Okay, so for the last week, I have had virtually no appetite, since we scheduled surgery. I'm not deliberately trying to starve myself, I literally can't look at food. I know it's probably due to nerves right now, but is this to be expected? Not nauseated, feverish, etc. It seems like all I want is liquids.

Amanda the only time I lost my appetite was when that huge mass was pressing everything, cutting off my intestinal tract and making me nauseous. I survived a month on one yoplait yogurt a day. Other than that my appetite is too hearty! Lol. Good luck with the surgery! Hugs & a prayer 🙏🌼

Flappys, right now I am surviving on a strange combination of orange sherbet, regular pepsi or Mountain Dew, water, orange juice and that's about it. Did manage to force down some chips this afternoon, but that's it.
