I had the same issue. The bambillo mattress topper helped immensely. I hope you find a solution. Gentle hugs

Chrissy - for me taking a muscle relaxer helps me to get to sleep. I take Zanaflex 4mg at night. (generic name is Tizanidine).

Same here. I can't live without my flexiril. A whole one knocks me out, a half usually does enough but doesn't keep me from waking up in the morning alert.

That's what I like about Zanaflex - it has a shorter "life" so I have no after effects to deal with when I wake up. :)

Zanaflex knocks me on my ass!! I can take 100mg of Morphine and you'd never know I took anything.. I take the Zanaflex and I'm drooling and falling asleep sitting up and mid sentence.. 🙄

I'm having to take muscle relaxers and/or anxiety med, along with melatonin, since my daughter and her dog has moved back home. She's in my hubby's room and he's sleeping with me again, which means I'm not sleeping much. He snores and breathes cold air from his apnea machine, right down my neck...brrr! Because I'm tense about moving around in my discomfort like I usually do, I'm having very restless nights. Was only occasionally slept together since she moved out 4 years ago.

Always - morphine doesn't even phase me. Zanaflex knocks me out and at times it can sure make me loopy. But I love that when I wake up in the am I am not still feeling loopy.

Flappy - I have been thinking about you and hoping that situation was getting better. My son moved back home for a few months and will be back most of Nov. And Dec. With him is his 60 plus pound 1 year old Sharpei. Sasha took a liking to me... And loves to jump up on my lap. I had paw print bruises to prove it. ((( gentle hugs )))

Flappys, you have been in my prayers. So sorry you are having such a rough time. Do you have a soft scarf or cloth you could keep the cold air off your back? If you put something loosely on your back of neck it could help or even a hankie . I hope you start feeling better. I'm on it!!!
