Trusted sources of chronic pain information?

Jan 10, 2017 10:48 PM

Where do people go to find information regarding chronic pain symptoms or treatments?

I cannot seem to find any good websites that I can trust.

Any feedback from the community will really help me.

Depending on if you have an illness causing it or not? I use various illness's direct websites for info, (I'm undiagnosed)

A lot depends on the cause of your pain.

What I do is when I'm researching a particular type of illness like trigeminal neuralgia (which is my chronic pain) I don't just read the info on one website, I look at as many as I can and collate the info. If most websites say similar things that's the info I use but I don't forget the little extras some say because those little extras can sometimes help that little bit extra.

It's very hard to research a chronic pain if you don't know what type because there's soo many different illnesses that can cause chronic pain then on top of that there's also chronic pain cause by accidents or injuries.
