So I had extreme anxiety last week and I bite my the inside of my lips when it gets that bad. A day after my lips finally healed to normal (this week) I got 6 ulcers in my mouth and on my tongue. It made my talking almost impossible to understand and eating and drinking very painful. I put some oral gel that numbs the mouth so that I could get some relief but that doesn't last long. They are mostly healed now but I was wondering if anyone knew of ways to prevent ulcers and what exactly causes them. Thankfully I've taken a lesson in sign language so my step mom and I could talk without me using my mouth but I really don't want this to happen again! Help!
I've just renctly started experienceing this my slef. It happens to me moslty when I'm to my breaking point if stress..it reminds me to chill.becaue my stress crahs is coming next. What I do as long as they r not cracking or hurting to badly is i use the whiting mouth wash bout two to three times a day. And try to not eat foods that irritate it. And I drink more water. Then I do my relaxation and mindfulness time. To try a d help me chill out.
