Vintage Movie Suggestions.

While I am sitting here elevating my foot and trying to heal. I like to watch free movies on YouTube. I saw "Why Me?"about Leola Mae Harmon and enjoyed it. And I really liked "Tim" filmed in Australia. Does anyone have any older movie suggestions. I prefer inspirational, light romance, comedies. We don't have a TV. I don't care for the ones with too much bad language or a lot of steamy sex scenes because my little kids are always seem to be around me. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Equine, I do have one for you. 1776. Its a historical musical. Don't know if you like that kind or not.

Equinesister, you didn't say how old you like your movies but I have a really awesome one for you. "Down Argentine Way" with Betty Grable, Carmen Miranda, Don Ameche and Charlotte Greenwood and the Nichols Brothers. It was made in 1940 and was a love story and had beautiful horses in it.
Another movie I loved was "Born Yesterday" with William Holden and Judy Holiday and was made in 1950. It was a comedy and a love story. I love both of those movies and if they were both on at the same time, I don't know how I'd choose!! (Actually, I'd probably watch "Down Argentine Way" because of all the horses). I hope that was helpful... Enjoy!!πŸ’•πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»

EquineSister, I watch a lot of Turned Classic Movies, and love every one of the Shirley Temple movies. I also love "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers," which comes on yearly. πŸ™πŸŒΌ

Flappsy!!! I love Seven Brides for Seven Brothers!! I have it on DVD. Remember the part where she made breakfast and had taken their clothes and wouldn't let them come out to eat until they gave her their underwear to wash?? LOL!! Or the barn raising when they got in the huge fight over the girls.. Great movie. (Now I can't get the song "when you're in love" out of my mind!!).πŸ’•πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»
