Been at this for over a year now. They say the slower, the better, but this feels like it is killing me some days. Not sure if any of you are going through this same thing. I was on 200mg daily for 15 years. It quit working for my fibro after the first five years. I tried to get off of it before but my doctor had my coming off of it in a two week time period. It was too much so I went back on it. Now I am finally down to 43mg daily and slowly decreasing. Along the way though has been extremely hard. It affects everything! Mood, muscles, brain function, I find it hard to form sentences on some days or I simply can’t get the word out without stuttering. Plus many other weird withdrawal symptoms. The nausea is horrendous as well. I hope if you are on this medication you simply take the time to research, research and more research.

Hello everyone, I am new to this group and after reading these posts am now a little worried. I am currently on Lyrica dose is 450 mg. I was also on Cymbalta and that was terrible to get off, hoping this won’t be as bad :(
Wow! I was on 300mg for only 2 years but coming off it was awful. I chose to drop it because while it dulled my nerve pain I couldn't function. I was an emotionless, highly confused, forgetful zombie. I actually lost my job coz I couldn't function at work.
I wish I had neen better warned about it, and I hope you have a smooth recovery!!
