How is everyone doing? Has everyone gotten all there bread and milk...lol..

Jan 22, 2016 4:39 PM

Ha ha! So glad to be on th west coast right now. Even though its still cold and rainy. I hope everybody in the east stocked up on all the necessities they need!

Im dreaming of just being on the sofa in front of the tv with a nice warm blanket wrapped around me and not moving at all!! Lol

Jan 22, 2016 5:01 PM

Gaby..I thought I was gonna run outside to take the trash out before it all got started and uhhhh. Nope did not make it. The sleet and ice was fighting me all the way.

Jan 22, 2016 5:17 PM

It's just now sleeting here.. Not expecting to much to stick..

Jan 22, 2016 6:28 PM

It's still raining here in central GA. We're are on the fence, not sure if the back door swirl is going to catch us or not. I'm hoping not! But the cold and wind tomorrow I really dread. I told my hubby I'm not leaving home for anything. And if it does happen to ship just far enough south to catch us we will likely lose power. It never fails in our 40+ year old neighborhood... And all our utilities are under ground. Doesn't make sense! I'm so glad I no longer live in N GA!!! 😬 My poor friends have ice. Hope everyone stays toasty warm! πŸ™‚πŸ™πŸŒΌπŸ’•

To bad my boyfriend is far away..lol

Jan 22, 2016 7:01 PM

Flappys, some of us farther north(ME) are choosing to hibernate over the weekend. Not much else to do.

Jan 22, 2016 8:05 PM

All day in NC it was sleeting. Wrecks, trees down & power outages. Its been awful! & they're calling for snow tomorrow on top of the ice. Hoping I don't lose power! Good luck everyone!!

Jan 22, 2016 8:51 PM

It hit us last night and possibility of more tonight! Kids had a hi old time playing in it! Lol!! We were Luck this time around as we still have power and we are stocked up on the nessaties. We are good here and I am choosing to stay in now, it's toooooo cold! Prayer's to all!

Jan 22, 2016 9:18 PM

Southwestern Virginia here. Snowing like it's trying to win a race..... it's winning. Looking at possibly 18 to 20 inches. Not stopping till Sunday morning. Already snowed in about a foot. If I didn't hafta wade across the street at 7 am to give my grandma her meds I'd be fine with the snow.... Sigh.... Gonna be cold in the morning. But then it's hibernation time!!!

Jan 22, 2016 10:24 PM

As cold as it is I'm tempted to go outside.. But then again it's just a thought. Lol

Jan 22, 2016 10:40 PM

Phoenix, are you back in blue ridge country? Just curious....

Jan 23, 2016 8:09 AM

They just declared a state of emergency for Long Island... We already have a good 8 inches in the ground and we're supposed to go up to 18". The plows have come through twice this morning. We'll see what happens.. sending {{{Hugs}}} and prayers to all in the storm that you are safe and warm and have everything you need to ride out the storm. πŸ’•πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»πŸ˜Š

Jan 23, 2016 8:29 AM

Keep safe everyone who is facing the oncoming storm from across the pond . ❄⛄
Hope it doesn't bring to much disruption , chaos and injuries xx

Jan 23, 2016 8:34 AM

Cnan, if it gets much worse, I'm gonna start swimming over to your side of the pond!!! πŸ’•πŸ˜œπŸ˜³

Jan 23, 2016 2:28 PM

Jan 23, 2016 3:50 PM

Thanks Phoenix. Somebody needs to come get me as well. I'm bored out of my mind already.

Jan 23, 2016 4:44 PM

Looks like I'm gonna have to organize some beds if you all coming over 😁 lol

Jan 23, 2016 5:26 PM

We at 31" but for some reason im having less pain could it be pressure stabalizing?

Jan 23, 2016 7:28 PM

Michellled. I noticed that too.. It was like 19 here but once I got it warm in the house I seemed to be in less pain.

Jan 24, 2016 8:12 AM

I live in NJ. We got about 20 inches. The worst part is digging out. We live in the country so it's a nightmare. This is one of those times I wish I was the old healthy me. Good luck everyone keep safe

Jan 24, 2016 8:44 AM

We got 27.5" as of this morning. Cats are buried in drifts.. We have drifts up to 4.5 feet deep from the wind. The rest is flat and a bit over 2 feet deep. What a mess.. LOL!!

Jan 24, 2016 1:36 PM

For once I think I'll stay in the Southern Tier of NY! We've only had about 8-10 inches all winter. We didn't even get a dusting with this big storm! I feel for all of you in the way of this storm though, stay safe and warm.

Jan 24, 2016 1:56 PM

Cats = Cars. LOL!!!
I'm in NY (Long Island) and that's the snow that hit all 5 boroughs

Jan 24, 2016 2:29 PM

Just made my way on, had problems with the app, and had an update notice today, hoping this helps.
How did everyone make out with the blizzard of 2016 aka blizzard Jonas?

My son did try, but his bulging disk said "not a chance in hell!" He was so mad that he couldn't do anything. My neighbor, bless his heart did the majority of everythjng5, I just shoveled 28 inches away from my cars... back spasms started again, though I was ready.

Jan 24, 2016 6:15 PM

Just normal boring rainy here.
