Weird groin pain

Nov 02, 2015 3:46 PM

Took a nap, woke up with pain in my groin area that radiates to my hip and down my inner thigh. Anyone think this could be related to sciatic pain? I have constant sciatic pain and use neurontin. Never had pain like this. Can't straighten my leg. It pulls to bad. Just laying here curled into a ball.

Cearea, it could be sciatica. Or it could be the thigh muscles are tight, causing radiating pain. The third option that comes to mind is pelvic floor dysfunction. PFD affects internal pelvic muscles which go down the front and inner thighs. The abdominal-pelvic muscles connect at the hip, which could explain the radiating pain. Try heat & gentle small-circular massaging to relax the muscles. It sounds like they're in a tight spasm. Hugs & praying it lets up very soon. Been there too many times to count. 🙏🌼
