Gastro Doc said both polyps on my colon were benign which is good but because of the size of them and there were two I have to go back in three years do it all again double check... Also my esophagus polyp came back benine however this was a big polyp and very highly unusual where found so I go back in a year to make sure that is not regrowing... I have bad acid reflux, and yup IBS... Most likely both IBS AND IBS-D they just switched out... So now my entire worlds changed and I need to uphevel everything learn to do everything diff.. I also will have a new diet plan to follow.. So I'm thankful nothing bars in there but still dealing with a fucking shit storm... Good thing I'm back on my kolonapin and a muscle relaxer that helps keep my system n check in turn helps keep my IBS in check.... She put me on "dicyclomine " for cramps n pain in my tummy... Then change my first I gotta drink a glass metamucil every day!! Oi sooooo much to remember.... I'm just exhausted!!!

MizzMonroe, I'm glad to hear all true polyps were benign. I totally understand the stress of the diet changes. I was dx with Barrett's Esophagus this year and had stomach & esophagus surgery for a hiatal hernia, to try and prevent further damage (BE can turn to cancer). I've had to eliminate or greatly reduce sugar, starches, fried, fatty, or spicy foods. At first this was very hard but as time goes by it gets easier. Having had IBS-C since the 1980s and delayed motility since surgery in 2010 surgery, I now take citrucel and psyllium daily, as well as magnesium, Senna-S, and Colace; otherwise I can't go. Try not to stress over"all the changes" needed, but focus on one step at a time. Don't let it overwhelm you. As time passes it will be second nature, like washing hair or brushing teeth. Hugs love and prayers you'll have no more polyps and gain calmness as you learn these new ways to cope! 🙂💕🙏🌸
