Well, That was *Fun* (Trouble keeping meds down)

May 02, 2016 9:28 AM

Last night I was having a flare, and couldn't stand without almost passing out. Took meds, but just ended up puking everything up. I think my body is a little wonky after the dance concerts, but that's okay. I just love that I could even be part of it. Anyway, I'm tired and sick but heading to school in a few minutes. Yay?

I would call that a win. You were able to participate in something that you looked forward to and worked for. Great job. Sorry your tummy is staging a rebellion. Sounds like it was worth it.

I agree with LMB about it being a win. Yay! We all know doing anything enjoyable is likely going to cost us something. I'm just sorry it caused throwing up... Ugh! Hugs & prayers you'll feel better soon! 🙂💕🙏🌼

Ferritbandit, I am sorry that you had to go through that misery. But it is nice that you don't keep you from living the things you love. Sometimes we just can't and that is disheartening. But you pushed ahead despite the pain because you wanted it even knowing the consequences. It shows a lot about your character. You are a fighter. I am glad you had a great time.

I'm sorry you went through that Ferrit. I hope that you recover quickly. Keep us updated on how you are feeling.
Gentle hugs

Thanks, everyone! I had a good day, and then today not so much. Had to go home early, really stiff and barely keeping from passing out. Slept 4 hours strait, which seemed to help. Yeah, it is disheartening to miss out on things you love for illness. Last year's dance...writing, or doing spinning as my final project this year. Oh well, I'll be okay. Hoping to be back in school tomorrow

Hi ferretbandit. Kudos for getting out there. I hope you made some pleasant memories that help you feel better when you're down. I know it's not easy but I'm so glad for you. You got out. You participated. Yay. Good luck on your final project. What type and subject will it be?

May 04, 2016 1:52 PM

It's a museum exhibit, about Gandhi and one of many subjects. My group is studying the Untouchables, and Gandhi's work on equality. It's a depressing topic, but we're building a make shift house that families of Untouchables live in...

Ferritbandit, That's Depressing yes, sounds like a subject that changes the way we see the world. Cannot imagine what it's like for those in that kind of situation who suffer with illnesses like some of us do

May 04, 2016 3:59 PM

Ferritbandit, I do hope you're feeling better today. What kind of makeshift house are you building?

May 04, 2016 11:09 PM

Ferretbandit I am so glad that you went to the concert dance and had such a good time!! The fact that you went and had fun and don't regret going is a definite victory!!! I'm sorry that you're suffering for it now but I'm glad that it was worth it. Hope school went well for you and that you are feeling better. You're one tough cookie, I'm really happy for you. Sending you lots of love, gentle {{{Hugs}}} and prayers that the rest of the week goes well.💕🙏🏻🌻😊
