I cannot sleep. I sense a storm coming because I feel like I have sharp edges on my bones cutting into the inside of my skin. I feel like I'm going to sprout a tail and like if I have flesh wounds on the outsides if my knees... Arthritis, you suck ... ू(ʚ̴̶̷́ .̠ ʚ̴̶̷̥̀ ू) fibro, you're a dick ･ﾟﾟ･(>д<)･ﾟﾟ･ fatigue, I hate you ヘ（。□°）ヘ
🤔What is sleep...? 🐪Let alone the pretty one! Hehehe...🤗 its been 14 years since i woke feeling refreshed from any sleep at all! 😚 I cant even remember what that feels like anymore! 🐴 I can tell ☔ when⛈ stormy weather is coming tho🌪... pain levels make me into a barometer🌡too 😘
I'm on three sometimes four different pills to help me sleep.and most nights I still only get five hours. Five hours is like gold tk me. Even on the days where I do sleep 8 or more I still feel like I've been break rocks with my face all night. So most times it's a choice of talking something just so the night goes by fast by knocking me out or just take my chances and hope something good is on tv.
I have to take modafinil... 🌻 (my daffodil 🐴) to stay awake! I have severe CFS and CPS with high med load... 🐫so i fight a close line between being awake...🐪or being in pain... its taken me 6years to prove📝 i was doing everything i could📖 to stay awake...😛 b4 the consultant neurologist would rx it for me!🐴 Its a narcolepsy drug... (which i dont have)... 🐴but its my savior... else id be asleep 🐌by 3 every day! 😚
I think it was 8 years ago the last time I woke up feeling good. I sleep for 12 hours most nights an still don't feel better. Mornings are so hard to get up and start the day, especially when your neck shoulders legs arms back hurt! I would love to know what could keep me energised throughout the day? As I get tired around 2/3pm an need sleep again as I have cfs aswell! Are there any herbal teas or power foods anyone has tried and seen a difference?
I drink a lot of coffee with no sugar, and also drink matcha tea. I take a few supplements. Englash brakefast is good too because it changes the way you see the day. I still wake up throwing shit and irritable 😒 but I keep the routine. I need a lot of motivation so I YouTube in the morning. I watch things that inspire me. Today I watched a transparent plastic purse dig (pretty easy and chic) and ice cubes top ten tips to success (´⌣`ʃƪ) (that's my boy) if not, I'd probably not had brakefast, or took a shower. (్ఠ ˓̭ ఠ్)
I go to sleep most nights and sleep 3-4 hours before I have to plot. Then I go back to sleep until I take meds, then back to sleep until I get up. Some nights I'm waking every 1-2 hours to change positions due to pain. Although it's a total of 9 hours it rarely ever feels refreshing. And like HollyFibroCfsEndo said, I wake in pain. A warm shower helps some. But then I'm getting sleepy mid day. 🙂💕🙏🌸
In other news, my little early rising son just told me that "No one has ever caught a crying evil baby clown". I asked if that's because they are so rare or because they are so difficult to catch....the answer was unclear. Hopefully the evil clown babies won't keep me awake tonight!
I am a firefighter/EMT & my sleep schedule stays a mess!! I work 24 on 48 off & I can't take all of my night meds when I'm working. I have suffered with every type of headache there is most of my life. So my sleep is crazy!!!!
Firegirl602, I feel for you and understand. My hubby worked rotating shifts as a police officer for 26 years. The hardest part was adjusting from one shift to the next, or working night shift then being in court all day the next day. I tried to keep our kids as quiet as possible when he was sleeping. But there were many times he functioned on very poor sleep. Hugs love & prayers you can find a healthy balance! 🙂💕🙏🌸
