I experienced a back sprain a year ago and have been on and off work because of it for the past year. I have had recurring painful back spasms that leave me so sore and stiff it makes getting through the day difficult. I also have Costcochrronditis which has been agonizing because of not being able to get in a comfortable position due to my back. Now all of the sudden I have a weird strong tingling sensation on the skin all over my back. What could this be? I have had patches of areas that sometimes feel like a steam burn or scrape yet shows no visual changes.

Hmm...do u have any problems with your disc's? My husband gets similar feelings in his legs and back due to having disc's bulging and pressing on the nerves. Often it is just before or after one or both of his legs goes numb for a while.

The mri showed a slight bulge lower than the area where the sprain was but the doc said it was slight... This is a new sensation and it seems to be sticking around.
