What is this?

Mar 29, 2017 7:25 AM

I have episodes with sudden nausea and lightheadedness, then suddenly a cold tingling feeling that I can't describe rushes through my whole body. After that I'm left with rapid heartbeat, trembling, nausea and lightheadedness. I am going to a neurologist in 2 weeks. But what do you think this might be? I've collapsed in a train before, and had 2 scary sleep paralysis encounters with visual and audio hallucinations, and I have excessive daytime sleepiness. Right now I'm also battling posterior tibial tendonitis, ankle flexor strain, and recovering from a slightly dislocated kneecap. (Diagnosed with JHS, accessory navicular, bilateral pes planus)

I can't say it with certainty, but it sounds to me like. It could be POTS. Postural Orthistatic Tacycardia Syndrome. (Spelling?) Does it happen with position changes? It is often a co mobidity (sp?) with hEDS and JHM.

I've had some of those symptoms with severe panic attacks. There could be two separate things going on. I hope you get to the bottom of this. Sending much love to you. 💚

I have straighting in cervical spine minimal disc space. Narrowing is suspected @ C5-C6 and C6-C7.
Then L1-2 though L3-4 significant abnormality. L4-5 small disc herniation, disc L5-S1 posterior tear.
Should I do pain management? Or Surgery's.

I have A Fib. Causes a lot of your symptoms. They didn't catch until they made me wear a monitor for 48 hrs.

Dusty, my whole lumbar is herniated, 2 leaking and scoliosis, several compressed nerves. Been like this for many months because I can't afford insurance. I'm stuck on pain meds. I wished I could get surgery but I can't. Pain management only manages..that's it. At least you have a chance that the surgery can make a difference.

Some of this could be Narcolepsy & Cataplexy. If you are having excessive daytime sleepiness, sleep paralysis, and hypnagogic hallucinations I would strongly suggest trying to get a sleep study.

I'm not sure if there have been any actual studies, but it seems like a decent amount of people with Narcolepsy also have issues with joint hypermobility
