Hi libedon, I was wondering if living in Arizona helps you at all? I'm thinking somewhere down the line that Arizona would be a good place to live for a person with fibromyalgia.does it help you at all?
That's a good question! I can't say it has helped me, but I do know that it's a good place to be if your body is affected by weather or pressure, because the weather is pretty steady here for a good amount of time (summers are hot, but there isn't a huge fluctuation of temperature or precipitation). I have heard of a lot of people with arthritis moving here and having lower pain because of the location. If you are thinking about it, I would suggest somewhere a little bit north, like prescott or sedona.
Sunny Oakridge, Oregon at least once every day of the year. Sometimes it is a blink.I live on the south facing slope of a plateau. I am at 1,800 feet the plateau goes up to 2,500 feet. Alwaysinpain, isn't that where they think they have a serial killer leaving bodies on the shore of some beach. I was just curious. My hobby is serial killers as you can tell by my username. The_profiler. I love how they are able to profile a serial killer. How they can see his behavior and almost where to look based on his or her behavior. I don't glorify serial killers. I like to explore the why. Like are we making them or do they just kill. The bible prophesied people would change drastically at what they called the last days at 2 Timothy 3:1-5. It describes people just like they are today. We may reason they have always been that way. But never have we seen mankind so cruel and heartless in any other time in history like they are now. So it makes me curious if God can forgive a serial killer. It reminded me in the bible about a man named Manases. He was good then turned evil, then good. When he was bad, he was so bad. He put up false Gods and idols where the true God was to be worshiped. With that new religion, he made many children pass through the fire and die. He killed many people. Yet he repented and God forgave him. I know God's forgiveness is perfect and that works out best for people who have previously been bad people. But I'd someone made a kid I know walk through fire and die, I would have to reach to somewhere that I didn't know exist to forgive. So that is why I try to understand them. I know, I know, you all didn't ask ha ha
About where I live, I live in a small town called Shenandoah which is thirty minutes to a small city named Harrisonburg in the conservative state of Virginia which I think may be one of the last states to legalized same sex marriage and marijuana. I am sort of happy about that. I am conservative and old fashioned too.
Yes, Profiler, It is indeed where the serial killer left over 12 bodies buried along an ocean parkway and they don't know if there are any more or if they found them all. I, too, am fascinated by how people's minds work and why they do what they do. I also am very into Spirits and such. I am a sensitive and an empath so when I go places, I am very aware if there are any wayward spirits nearby. If I go to a cemetery, I have to tell them that they can't come near and they need to stay at their resting place. Strange, huh?? Alot of people don't believe in the paranormal but I have had too many instances and have seen too many things to discredit that it is nothing more than a fact. At any rate, sorry I rambled on, Just wanted to let Profiler know that Long Island is, indeed, where the serial killer buried the bodies along the coast.
Trugunny, I have a spinal cord stimulator.. I have had revision surgery done 5 times to replace it because it kept malfunctioning and breaking. At this point, after several years, I have a non functioning neurostimulator in my cervical spine implanted at my brain stem. They cannot remove it without the very strong possibility of paralyzing me. I also have the battery pack and other wires still in there with the connectors for the original battery that was in my abdomen. It is so scarred in that I have huge lumps and rope like scars under my skin that are about 2 inches thick. The battery pack that is in the top portion of my left buttock is still in there as well. I have a TENS unit that I try to use but it causes current to run up the wires and causes me pain so I can't even use that at this point. I'm sadly left with nothing but pain meds to help me along and they don't do much. All the very best to you and your Aussie friends, I hope and pray that yours are all successful and that they help your pain.
I'm amazed by the number of UK and Candians, eh. Love it! I find that the UK is so far ahead of us with treatments and support groups, thank you. I look to the UK for a lot of medical advice. I'm from Mahomet, Illinois.
Well I've had my colon mri and already know I have a hernia on my rectocele. Praying and begging God for my doctor to remove it. He's been talking about taking out most of my colon. If he could just take all the lower I will be ok. I just need some relief.
I'm in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Originally from outside Bowling Green, Kentucky.
I'm tracking as I prepare for my first appointment. Lived with pain for years, thought everyone did. Major migraines (Vestibular and other types) and BPPV started in January, and now we're trying to find out if they are related to the body pain.
Interested to learn what the opiate addiction is like in other states and countries. I'm from MA, USA. You literally have to be in hospice and/or hospitalized in order to receive proper pain management.
Unfortunately West Virginia, US...I doubt I'll ever afford it but my life's goal is to go to Sweden. I have Swedish ancestry but no one I know of and regardless the positive and progressive nature of the people certainly jive with me infinitely more so than the U.S.! Maybe a hostel one day when my pain is better under control. Then again staying here...it's unlikely to happen. 😑
Born, raised Michigan USA... Military took me to, TN and CA. now back in MI. Life goal Scotland... Ancestors are from there MacQueens. Now McQueens. This years goal just to make it on the mission trip to Haiti and back without getting sick.
