We all have to focus on managing the not so good, horrible, and agonizing things in our painful lives.
That makes it one hundred times more important to counter that negative entry with neutral and positive energy.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to comment below with 3 things that are good in your life right now. Then come back tomorrow and do the same. Do it as often as you think about it, and we can make a big thread garden of gratitude and goodness 😎
I'll start with my own: 1. I'm grateful for apps like this one, with active communities to connect with. 2. I'm grateful for the air in my lungs, earth under my feet, and each beat of my mostly healthy heart today. 3. I'm grateful for every person who will indulge me and do this silly exercise at least once or twice 😎
1. I’m grateful for my family and friends. 2. I’m grateful for my new grandchild. 3. I’m grateful that although I’m not having a pain free day ( what is that?) I’m not experiencing a day at a pain level of 9-10
1. I'm grateful for my pets. I have a cat Katie and dog Molly. They bring me great joy every day. 2. I'm greatful for this App and the people in this community. 3. I'm grateful for my friends who give me rides. I don't drive anymore.
I Have found the gym really helps with my back pain and allows me to reduce my mess. I have just had my intrathecal pump turned off And am finding it a real challeMeg. The more active I am the better I can cope with the pain mentally. I als use music to distract my mind.i also use magnesium for the spasms and CoQ10 to help with low energy levels. My pain specialist tell me not to go to the gym and my physio tells me not to stop!In the end you know your body better than anyone. Hope you find what works for you!
I am grateful for this new day this moment where I choose to love myself by relaxing my body through deep breathing & rest.i give my pain & financial & physical limitation to God & let him hold them for me while I rest. Sweet, sweet moments now.
I am grateful for my Psychiatrist who has been the driving force behind getting a diagnosis after struggling everyday for over 10 yrs. She has supported me in so many ways and continues to fight and be my advocate.
