What's Worse???

Sep 03, 2017 3:54 AM

A. Being In pain from the illness?
B. The longer you have the illness seems to bring on another?
C. The medications used to treat all the illnesses?
D. The side effects that come with medications?

For me... its A because i can't take pain medication strong enough to do anything beneficial to lessen the pain. If its in the opioid family, it makes my illness worse.

I agree with NY Kai! There adobe's a point where the medication impedes life more than just bearing the pain and adapting. However for me, that translated to decreased physical activity which then caused weight gain putting even more strain on all my muscles, ligaments and joints.

For me it's the first two.

A) is the worst for me at this point

Definitely the first two!

All of the above seems one surgery leads to another and then more meds now I am afraid to tell my doctor about this new weird pain where my Gaul bladder was taken out

@LisaAnn How long ago did you have it removed?

Also, it's definitely A and C for me. I've been in pain longer than I have been without it.

I would have to say the first two for me .

Sep 04, 2017 3:56 PM

@LisaAnnK I haven't had mine for quite awhile but I was told that it's possible to have "phantom pain" after it has been removed.

It feels worse than the actual pain. I was in so much pain two days ago I couldn't get up off the floor.

For me it was both side effects and the feeling it will never end . 😐 Hang in there. You got this 🤗🤗 sending prayers your way we are all here for you my friend
