What happens when you get pain? Does it feel like you have a broken bone?

It depends on where I'm hurting. Occasionally I yet deep in my leg bones, that hurt so bad it feels like they are going to break if I walk. My muscles tendons & ligaments are a general deep pressure ache, always. My headaches vary between throbbing, squeezing, and pressure. Sciatic pain and pelvic congestion pain have shooting pain. Interstitial cystitis has spasms & shooting pain.

I'm sorry you're having such a high level of pain.

I've broken more than my share of bones, so I know how it feels. In September my arm and elbow were X rayed because I thought I may have fractured my arm. There was no accident. I felt a pop and that was that. There was no fracture, but there was arthritis in the elbow. Still get the forearm pain. I ice it, elevate (it swells) and rest it. We still don't know why though.

It depends on where and the cause. I have AS, Reynaud's, Fibro, DDD, and systemic scleroderma. Different areas have different pain. Fibro tends to feel like I got beat with a bat. AS is jammed, takes my breath away, sharp radiating pain. Sometimes crushing, burning pain. Sciatica, brusitis, Tieze syndrome, plantar faciitis all feel different. Reynaud's and a cold steering wheel feels like someone has crushed my fingers with a sledgehammer. Pain is subjective. Which pain can I help you with?
