Hey everyone,
Lots of love and hugs to everyone, sorry I have been absent..
Lots of things been going on.
We found out we were pregnant in december last year with our second baby and nearly 3 months later we lost the baby. Its been nearly 3 weeks since that happened. I had to have surgery and my heart rate dropped to 20.
They also gave me tablets to kick everything off however they didnt tell me that the tablets were an inflamitory so they irritated my bowel and I have fibromyalgia.
The hospital seemed really caring and interested in my fibromyalgia and asked me a ton of questions. Its great news that this is getting more awarness. I was not made to feel like it was an invisible illness.
I am still waiting on test results from our child as to why this happened.
During the pregnancy i found i had a short break from my symptoms however when i lost the baby the symptoms have returned with a vengance including some really scary ones.
Ive had pins and needles in my face, and face pain, a stage where ive had electric shocks running down my spine and a stiff neck for a week and terrible head pain.
Ive had swollen ankles so bad my work mate noticed and rubbed my ankles for me.
My IBS has been horrid too.
My doctor is sending me for an MRI in two weeks to get everything checked out. Im hoping its not Multiple sclerosis but at least ill have some answers.
I have a nerve study to do as well as the nerve pain has been something else (burning, stabbing and pins and needles every day).
I have also been waking up sweating.
I had a bad flare before the pregnancy that has left me with essential tremors in both hands as diagnosed by my doctor. Some days they are noticable other days they are ok.
I now have an iron deficiency too which amplifies brain fog vertigo and generally feeling like crap.
Anxiety is up because of the miscarriage and i am even considering anxiety meds because of the night mares that remain constant.
Hope that everyone else is doing ok and keep fighting to raise awarness because FIBROMYALGIA SUCKS! :(
