Winter is here

Dec 09, 2016 7:37 PM

We went from being nice and warm to winter for 3 days to extreme cold warnings for the last 3 days and continuing for the next week. They are saying it'll be colder than -30 overnight, and that doesn't include the wind factor. Chilly chilly. Hope my car starts after work.

Yep I'm there too !! So much snow everywhere. Prepare for the polar vortex lol. I really feel for those at standing rock.
Holy moly am I really feeling the cold for the first time (fibro wise). I woke up not being abe to use my arm or turn my neck this morning. It's going to be a fun winter !

Hi JessieNova.
There is no getting past the cold fibro wise but i have found that staying warm is an absolute must, staying moving is great too. For those days when nothing seems to be going right a hot epsom salt bath seems to make things not so awful.
Hope everyone stays warm. It's going to be an interesting winter weather wise

Gotobef that sounds like an extreme weather change, try to stay as warm as possible and I hope your car starts first time. Stay safe and drive carefully, watch out for black ice.
Sending you 🔥 warm 🔥hugz xx

Last Pain visit the doc said he thinks I have Raynaud's (my hands are all red and the fingers are white with blue nail beds). My hands and feet are so cold and I spend much time with a quilt over me to keep warm (which I have to keep throwing off because of menopausal hot flashes).. isn't it just the highlight of your day to get get yet another diagnosis?!?! NOT.. 🙄😊💕

Hand warmers and toe warmers. They are a life saver and you are only heating one area so the rest of you doesn't overheat. Well worth the investment. I buy them in cases at costco every fall
