Am I the only one here who cannot stand thunderstorms? Not be beacuse they are scary but because of the unbelievable pain they cause. So hard to explain to people that a storm can make you hurt so bad that you just wanna curl up in a ball and hide. The cold and snow of winter cause some aches and pains but it's nothing compared to the excruciating whole body misery caused by storms.
Hi happytoseethesunshine, I actually get panic attack's during thunderstorms, my old therapist said it was from all the hurricanes that I've gone through. I get migraines most of the time we have a thunderstorm, the lightning trigger's them. Extreme cold and heat set me into full body flair's. Your not alone. Healthy people will never understand us, my husband is supportive but he will never understand what I have to go through on a daily basis. Thier are time's he has said you all better, so I just tent to hide my real pain and push through as if I'm not in any pain.
I get that....when I was a child I hated them because I was scared of them but as I got older I loved watching them but now I ache so bad especially from my lower back to my ankles and more so on my left side
Winter is still my favorite time of year. The rain and overcast and gloom just brings out the best mood in my mind. But , oh my word, I am in the worst pain. My friends and family make fun of me because I'm miserable right before a storm and right after. But excited during because it's fun watching it from my window covered up with my electric blanket. 😂😂
It is the pressure change, if u google it they have actually done studies on it. The worse the low pressure, the worse the pain. I live near the great lakes and usually in the winter most our weather comes from lake effect, not huge swings in the pressure
