Hello fellow pain warriors,

I go to see my doctor this morning, I will get results from my first Scoliosis screening in several years. I'm also hoping to make some progress regarding whether or not he will prescribe me something for pain without leaving me hanging with zero meds.

I'm going to keep a positive attitude and do my best to be assertive and as straightforward as I can.

Any prayers or good vibes would be much appreciated!

Praying for lite or pain free days for all of us today

Hi Alwayz, thank you, my appointment was great. He has referred me to a pain specialist a rheumatologist and a hematologist lol. He gave me enough pain meds for one month. Hopefully I will be in to see the pain specialist by then. I truly believe that I was meant to find this doctor. I told him today that I appreciate him more than he knows. That in 4 visits he has done more to get to the root of what's causing my pain than any doctor ever has. I have had this hard small knot under the skin right by my left elbow. It's been there for years, I never thought anything of it. It bothered me but hey so does a lot of stuff. Anyhow it has at least doubled in size in the past few months. Which I've seen an increase in my pain during this time??? So he thinks it May be a rheumatoid nodule? So progress is awesome

Oops hit add too soon.

I'm heading to the lab in a few minutes to have some tests done for RA and a couple others?

Thank you Alwayz for checking on me. Bless you ✌️❤️😜

Hey 1971,
I am so happy for you that you found this doctor. It sounds like you have been coping for so long with this pain and you have needed this help for so long. I am really glad that you have got it. I am really happy that he gave you the pain medication to last you the month until he gets you into pain management. Hopefully, they will keep up with what he is giving you if it works.

It must be nice that it seems like they know what they are looking for. I hope you get the answers you are looking for. My best wishes to you.

Thank you Profiler, Flappys, and Alwayz,

It's been very encouraging to finally have a doctor that wants me and himself to find the answers once and for all.

He at least will give me 4 pain pills per day,?until I go see the pain Specialist in November.

Today I am seeing a hematologist to try and determine why my wbc is always too high.

I'm waiting for a call from my doctors office to let me know when my appointment with the rheumatologists is scheduled.

This is more than I hoped for. No doctor has done this much and it just delights me to no end.

Good things are coming (hopefully) lol don't want to be too sure incase they don't find or diagnose me with something.

I think I have not come to the place of acceptance that this is something I have to accept. That I will live my life like this from here on out. Without a diagnosis it seriously pisses me off lol

Anyhow thank you all for being here for me, I really appreciate it!

Blessings ✌️💜
