At some point I had to reduce my workload: I started working every other day and I was luckily allowed to do a lot of breaks on work days. Thanks to therapy and adaptions to my work environment I was able to get back to working full time. But this was a long process. 1-3 years. The situation your are stuck in is horrible: having the pressure to work while the Pain is telling you stop. That's probably tearing you apart? Are there any improvements you could make to your work environment to ease the pain? I have pain in my arms and work at the computer. A foot mouse which you use with your feet helped to reduce the Pain. Maybe there is some "gadget" that might help you.
