I have an interesting question for anyone with a thought. I have been on a workers comp claim since January 6 2014. I have been released off an on throughout this time with restrictions. Last month at my occ doc Majoris who is the insurance for comp or Saif had me sign a pain med contract which my doc doesn't agree with but basically I would have to pay myself if I didn't sign. I just called my pharmacy to inquire into Majoris and it turns out my regular insurance (Cigna) has been paying all along not Majoris?!?!?!
Oregon that doesn't sound right you probably need to contact cigna to get a printout of your meds and then I would call workers comp and find out why they weren't paying for your meds since you are on wc. Will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
OregonHS, something sounds fishy. Are you sure of what you signed? They're playing hardball, crookedly. Your insurance will probably go after them to be compensated if you notify them. But if I were you I'd get a WC lawyer. My daughter fell and snapped her humerus bone in half and hurt her back at work. She was out of work nearly 2 years, had to d op out of school and had to change her courses due to permanent damage. After the companies insurance failed to pay her injuries or missed income for 6 weeks I took her to a lawyer. They played hardball with her until then. 🙏🌼
Thank you all, I knew my online buddies would give me their take on it. I'm thinking of letting my occ doc know before I do anything, he's going to be honked off and simultaneously I'll contact Cigna and enlighten them. I see the doc again on the 17 th... Thank you all! 😘
