Is anyone else on xeralto? I am and am in such bad pain everyday. The only thing I can take until I get to the rheumatologist is Tylenol because I don't know what else I can take otc. Anyone else know of anything else safe?

Is there an on-call nurse line you can call through your doctor's office or insurance company? That's probably your best bet for getting the right information as it applies to YOU.

I'm sorry you are hurting so badly and have nothing that helps relieve some of the pain. I don't know if you've tried Epson salt bath soak or not, but many find relief with it. I can only speak my feet because I can't get in & out of a tub. As for pain relief meds, I won't be much help here as I'm allergic to most pain meds, reserving what few I can use for surgeries. I do have tramadol for fibromyalgia & sjogrens flares, but as many will tell you "it's not the greatest.". Lol I get through my days with Tylenol arthritis, voltaren gel (rx), warm showers, relaxation, gentle stretches, and walking my treadmill 15-30 min (4-6 days/wk). I walk slowly due to balance issues. It does add to my night leg cramps, but I rub voltaren gel in and have muscle relaxers if needed. I've had to stop my voltaren gel use until after my August surgery, due to ingredients like in aspirin. On days I don't feel well enough to walk I rest, but I pray for it later with stiffness increased. We're are all different, as is our relief methods. You may have to try many things before you find your best coping methods. Hugs love & prayers for reduced pain while you wait to see the rheumy doc! 🙂💕🙏🌸
