Diabetic neuropathy. Yyoouuuch that's right I pray for anyone who has this menacing disease. OMG 😲 I wouldn't even wish this on the Devil himself it's so bad and what is really bad is no real no known treatments for neuropathy and that's the real rotten egg and it stinks and it hurts like a poke in the eye

Oh no CoyoteKleen21, that really isn't good at all 😞
Have you tried any of the "possible" treatments that might help?
Like duloxotine?

Jul 27, 2017 2:28 PM

Yes I've tried everything it's not working but my new shoes do but half the time yoouuuch neuropathy gets you every time when you don't expect itπŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜΅πŸ˜΅πŸ˜΅πŸ‘ΏπŸ‘ΏπŸ‘Ώ

Jul 27, 2017 2:56 PM

Oh CoyoteKleen21 I wish there was something else I could suggest but I've only got what they would normally suggest like duloxotine or amitriptyline 😞

What about....and this is a very long shot but it might help?!?....either soaking in a warm/hot bath for at least 20 minutes with Epsom bath salts or soaking your feet in hot/warm large wash bowl for at least 20 minutes with Epsom bath salts? Magnesium is very good for many things like helping your muscles relax to helping nerve function so maybe a magnesium supplement as well might help? If you do try the magnesium supplement it's not going to work over night, you need to be taking it for at least 3 to 4 weeks before you feel the benefits of it

Like I said it's a long shot but anything is worth a try to see if it could help, right?

I'm sending you positive vibes and warm healing hugs xx

With the bath or large bowl of Epsom salts have the water as warm as you feel comfortable with, it works best when the water is as warm/hot as you can handle it.

Give me a little time and I'll see if I can come up with any more suggestions although they might end up on the wacky end of the spectrum the way my thinking is going thro this marvelous fibro fog!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜±πŸ˜‚

Jul 27, 2017 7:45 PM

Oh I do take Amitriptyline it works well for my migraine headaches but does nothing for my neuropathy! But I'll try the hot Epsom salts foot bath but tried it in the past, I had even worse pain afterwards

Jul 27, 2017 8:07 PM

Yoouuuch it was excruciating I can't do foot bath treatments it makes the pain a lot worse but thank you for your suggestions I'm crippled by this disease the shoes and/or the cane help to an extent but not enough to stop all of the pain they a considering a medicine called ProTx-1 which I need you to buckle up your seatbelt and hold on to your hat ProTx-1 is tarantula venom and is extremely toxic and should not be messed with it is a powerful neurotoxin and can paralyze you if you don't follow instructions as said by your doctor if I'm not already on it and it makes you extremely sensitive to infections! Keep thinking and pray for me! Love hugs! AND GOD BLESS YOU IN JESUS NAME AMEN!!!πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡

Sorry to hear, I know how you are feeling. It is horrible, I have had peripheral neuropathy now for 7months (not diabetic)and just this week found out cause and diagnosis (finally!) I have MTHFR gene mutation. My neurologist prescribed me a vitamin called Metanx for nerve damage that I have, it is also for diabetic neuropathy website is metanx.com I have only been on it for a week, along with some high dose vitamin D. I haven't been able to wear shoes or socks since mine started or even put anything near my toes, walking or standing is painful, nonstop crazy pains tingling burning you name it, IT IS AWEFUL! I wish you the best πŸ™

Why thank you for your awesome support having a tarantula on you 24/7 keeping her fangs in you the entire time would be torturing right? Well it's different and I'm now used to it but I have chronic skin infections, the magic 4 letter word is MRSA how horrible does that sound but it is true and the truth HURTS too! But I'd rather have MRSA than pain at this point I am just plain miserable with pain! Please think of some wacky and corny ways of controlling this God-awful pain and I will never forget your name and remember it to when my time comes then I'll tell Jesus how you blessed me with freedom of a pain free life! Did you know pain makes you vulnerable to doing terrible horrible things? Well none of us would want prison time or a one way ticket to Hell so let's give chronic pain the heavy steel toe boot o, u, t, out and be happy pain free and keep our freedom! But

No prison for us because we're in a great community of people in the same boat we will get through this together and succeed with TLC, LIFE AND COMPASSION FOR EACH OTHER AND COOL ADVICE!😎

YES WE WILL SUCCEED AND BEAT PAIN TOGETHER!!!πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜‡πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜‡πŸ˜Ž

Oh I'm soooooo sorry that my suggestion caused you soooooo much pain for you, I thought it might of helped you 😞
Are the shoes compression shoes? Is it the snug fit that offers you the relief? Would a pair of compression socks help you as well?

I wish I could help you more but you truly have tried everything that I could suggest 😒

I'm sending you lots of positive energy and warm healing hugs to you xx

I have to have a tarantula with its fangs in me 24/7 and that's annoying and lugging that nasty tarantula even in restaurants is quite embarrassing and is ugly to! It'll bleed sometimes and that can get messy!!! Please I'll need some encouragement and TLC and hints on coping skills and pain management, thanks bunches!!!πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜‡
