Zips zaps and shocks

Oct 13, 2016 3:32 PM

Today is the first time I have been having all kinds of prickly zaps all over. Not random like usual, but literally up and down my spine, through my arms, legs, torso, face and lips. And oddly, today I feel a lot better than usual. Headache began a few hours ago from an almost full day break, which is amazing in itself, but now I feel like a static machine ready to zap anyone nearby. These crazy days make me feel like I'm going crazy. Doctors, I feel, think I'm as wacky as I feel since no one but my chiropractor takes me seriously. Also, have been studying on syringomyelia since a spinal surgeon's assistant dxed me with a syrinx. In comparison to MRIs online, it looks more like a persistent canal cavity. Most doctors don't know anything about syringomyelia, and I found only 1 that states persistent canals are indeed syrinxes, while 99% say no. I know I can wind myself up, so I try to take info I stride. However, my hubby and I are my only true advocates as we've battled everyone except our chiropractor. He got me walking again, but now that's barely working and weakness is coming stronger when I exert myself. If I lay in bed all day, I feel worse. Just tired, I suppose. Had to vent because crazy things are happening that I'm not used to. Ugh, another day in paradise! The attached image is of my cervical MRI. I just can't seem to get a clear answer on what that is inside my spinal cord. My chiropractor says it is indeed a syrinx (cyst) but shouldn't be causing my issues. He states I have myelopathy, yet no doctor will dx that. It's so frustrating! Ok Vent Over! Thanks for reading.
