Went to the zoo with the family today. It was nice. I'm going to soak in the tub tonight and hopefully not wake up too sore. My leg weakness/gait disturbance returned after walking around for a couple hours. Tell me that doesn't sound like an MS exasperation.
Aliya, that's great that you could go. I want to go with my grandkids, but need my breathing to improve more first. Yes, it does sound like possible MS. Keeping you in my prayers. I have my lumbar puncture tomorrow and I dread it.
Thanks, me too. But the doc said even if its negative he's thinking of sending me to a MS facility for more tests. I'm trying to do research on other things it could be. But we all know what foggy brain does to researching... Lol 🙏🌼
Yeah. I understand. I'm out of ideas for me. So is my very intelligent PCP. I am not convinced I don't have MS but it's just going to be a waiting game. In the mean time it's just fibromyalgia. My quality of sleep is declining rapidly and my pain rising. It's only been CONSTANT pain since last September. Before that it was only seasonal and weather changes and stiff joints. For around six years.
Thanks Oregon. Hope everyone has a peaceful night. Its storming here. My new dog needed to go potty, and the rain didnt bother him. Neither did the lightening...he just cocked his head sideways as if saying, "what was that?" Lol 🙏🌼 Goodnight all 💤💤
Aliya, maybe you should get a lightweight wheelchair to use. Getting back up, if I get on the floor, is extremely difficult for me. I had to get the dogs ball from under the couch, and when I finally got on my feet and went to straighten up, I got both dizzy & nauseated. Rather than expend your energy getting back up, and not risk falling, the wheelchair could help you get to the baby faster and easier. My husband and I are trying to figure out how to (minimally $) widen doorways and the hall, in the event I need a wheelchair
Most of the time my husband gets up. I just hate waking him up when I am already awake. I'm pretty fit still. I do yoga, walk to work, etc. and getting up off the floor isn't really a problem. I just hate the drug induced dizziness every night. My doctor has lowered my dose four times but I get dizzy easily to start with. My legs felt like hollow logs, heavy but empty with the bark burning with fire that doesn't burn anything up. Very strange. Certainly due to over use I think.
You know, I told my husband I'm having trouble walking to the bathroom at night; feel dizzy & off balance. I bet its the gabapentin! Darn why didn't it click with me last night! Lol fog-brain in the swampy marsh...that's why! 😉
Aliya I hope that your legs are feeling better today. I belive that when I'm on my legs too much that's what is causing my legs and feet to feel numb and burning under my feet. My Neuro recently raised my Gabapentin from 600-800 every 4 hrs. I have noticed having some dizziness and it seems like the Fibro fog is happening more often than before. I am sorry if I am not making any sense today I have been at the hospital with my daughter since yesterday at 2 pm. Hopefully we get to go home this evening after they run the nb. test on her 24 hr urine.
